KEYSTONE KIDS SPRING FESTIVAL OF FUN

The rainy, cold weather didn’t dampen any of the Keystone Kids’ spirits at their annual Spring Festival and Beeping Easter egg Hunt. The kids were too busy to even notice the weather. First there were lots of arts and crafts projects to do. The “Egg Shell Magnets” and the “Little Peeps” were the most popular crafts.

Spanky, the clown surprised many of us with his squirting flower and honking nose! He painted lots of faces so that there were lots of clowns to keep everyone entertained. The balloon lady, Debbie Witkowski, came and made swords, hats, dogs and lovebirds for anyone and everyone.
George Casselberry brought the live bunny, Jigsaw, for everyone to hug and pet. Next the kids played games with hula-hoops, balloons and beeping balls.

Finally, it was time for the Easter egg hunt. With blindfolds for those with vision, the kids all searched the room by listening for a beeping egg. Everyone found at least three eggs!
After all that activity, the kids were starving, so Chef Will had a great lunch of chicken fingers, French fries and corn. Thanks to Jonathan Hearn and Anna Craig for providing cookies for dessert.
