| Once
or twice a year the Keystone Kids go bowling to the Thorton Hall.
We learn a lot of things and do a lot of things.
One of the things we learned is how to bowl and to do a seven-ten
split, where there’s only two pins left spread apart and you try
to knock them down. Bowling
is one of the best activities the Keystone Kids do.
It was new for some of us and we all had loads of fun.
Kathie taught us a lot about bowling.
Sometimes the bowling average of the kids gets up to 100
because we play bumper bowling and bumper blowing can be real fun
especially when you can’t see and you get a sssssttttrrrrike.
Keystone Kids is a group for children who have visual impairments.
The skills taught during our activities are critically important
for the future success of any student with a visual loss.
